Nurse Manager - Treatment & Recovery Center

Pay is commensurate with experience starting at $80,000 annually. Full time, exempt, benefits eligible. The Clinical Nursing Manager oversees the delivery, coordination and quality of nursing services within the TRC. This position will be directly supervised by the Director of Nursing and will be part of the TRC Leadership Team. This role involves a flexible schedule that includes evening and weekend hours. Typical hours may fall outside of standard business hours to best support the needs of the program and the individuals we serve.

RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:

  • Provides a high level of professional clinical leadership, demonstrating clinical competence and expertise.
  • Provides support and supervision to front-line staff in order to assist them in their role.
  • Maintains clinical skills and performs patient care at the bedside as needed.
  • Embodies the vision, mission, and values of the unit with staff.
  • Models service excellence skills and actively holds others accountable to a patient-focused environment.
  • Review patient records to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the care provided by the unit (chart audits).
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS include but not limited to:

Required:

  • 1-3 years of leadership experience
  • 3 years of nursing experience and 1 year behavioral health or crisis experience.
  • Current Kansas Registered Nursing license
  • Associate's degree in nursing
  • Reliable transportation and valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Must be 21 years or older.

Preferred:

  • 4-5 years of experience in a leadership role
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
