Pay is commensurate with experience within a range of $23.25 to $26.00 per hour. Full time, non-exempt, benefits eligible. Responsibilities: The Training Coordinator has oversight of the agency training program which includes management of the training curriculum, training matrix and requirements, and facilitation of the training team. The Training Coordinator administers the Center's Learning Management System (Relias), along with other online and live trainings to ensure the accuracy of training documentation. The Training Coordinator evaluates the effectiveness of BNC training programs. This role services at the point of contact for training needs for the agency and assists staff members as needed in maintaining accountability with training plans and goals.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Administration of the Learning Management System
- Serves as administrator for the Relias system, including account setup, development and assignment of training plans, and monitoring of/adherence to training completion.
- Maintains annual training plans in Relias informed by regulatory standards and Quality Improvement efforts.
- Creates reminders and administer reports in Relias to assist supervisors in accountability related to training completion.
- Setup of internally created online training/training content and creation of associated assessments.
- Assists staff with use of Relias.
Manage Training Curriculum and Serves as Training
- Serves as the subject matter expert regarding required training for the agency.
- Plans and coordinates monthly New Employee Orientation (NEO) including scheduling, determining curriculum (in collaboration with the Training Team, communication, and logistics.
- Provide support to the Leadership Training Team and collaborates in training coordination and needs to enhance supervisory skills/knowledge.
- Develops understanding of state required trainings and KS Train tool.
- Assure compliance with training requirements in coordination with the Quality Improvement Director.
Training Team Facilitation/Training Program Evaluation
- Schedule and facilitate the monthly Training Team meetings.
- Review of training matrix and any new training requirements required by the State, the accrediting body, and other licensing/certification standards.
- Assess and improve training offering through regular reporting and analysis of satisfaction surveys related to courses, trainers, and related training outcomes.
Other training coordination tasks as needed
- Maintain attendance list and any other required documentation.
- Assign documents and/or policies in PowerDMS as part of required training or adherence to accrediting bodies or regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, human services, or education. Or equivalent experience;
- Familiarity with training requirements for social services/behavioral health organization such as HIPAA, mandated reporting, etc.
- Strong organizational/project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy;
- Computer literate, and highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to become proficient at the Relias Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to lead and facilitate effective meetings.
- An energetic and positive approach to rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex workplace.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for working with a diverse community and workforce.
