Responsibilities

The Director of  the Treatment and Recovery Center (TRC) is responsible for the oversight and development of all clinical and operational functions of the TRC. The Director will develop, plan and implement strategies for program sustainability, improvement, and growth. This position provides both clinical and personnel supervision of all staff. The Director of the TRC sets the culture and priorities, in partnership with the Medical Director, for the TRC by actively engaging in staff, program and leadership development. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, possess the ability to foster teamwork and collaboration, and be able to build a culture of accountability for excellence. 

The Director of the Treatment and Recovery Center (TRC)  requires:

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling other mental health related field, or be a Registered Nurse or have experience demonstrating strong competence and knowledge of the field;

  • Five years of management experience in a mental health environment, including a minimum of three years of senior level experience;

  • Must have at least three years of experience with direct service as a clinician, case manager, or other mental health professional;

  • Must possess a license to practice independently in the State of Kansas from the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board or possess a nursing license as an RN by the State of Kansas Board Nursing;

  • Bert Nash Center requires proof of Covid-19 immunization prior to starting any position. Covid-19 vaccine series must be completed or in process to be cleared for new hire orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years of clinical, crisis operations, or relevant experience
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision for staff seeking independent licensure.
  • Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations
  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills.
