Find Purpose. Build Hope. Change Lives.

At Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, we believe recovery is possible and that community connection is the foundation for healing. As part of our Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment (IDDT) team, you’ll walk alongside adults living with both mental health and substance use challenges. You’ll help them build stability, access resources, and discover their own strengths on the journey toward recovery and independence. If you’re someone who values compassion, teamwork, and making a real difference, this is where your work will matter every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Support adults with serious mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders through goal-driven, community-based services.
  • Help clients navigate housing, healthcare, employment, and recovery resources.
  • Provide outreach and crisis intervention to promote safety, stability, and hope.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, nurses, peers, and housing specialists, to coordinate care and ensure holistic support.
  • Serve as an advocate for clients and help them find their voice in their recovery process.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, or equivalent experience (four years).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible, compassionate, and positive approach to change and teamwork.
  • Someone who thrives in meaningful, community-centered work and believes in people’s capacity to grow and recover.
