Salary is commensurate with experience with pay range of $61,000 - $99,000 per year. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, salaried, exempt, and eligible for our benefits. Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

The primary responsibility of the CFS Therapist is to meet the mental health needs of children and families in Douglas County by providing outcome based therapy interventions at the Center. This position will also provide oversight of community based cases in which there is a provider from outside of the agency.  This position would oversee the Intake schedule for CFS.

This position would have a 60% productivity expectation that could be adjusted according to the other workflow. This position could be hired at Sr. Level status depending on the licensure of the candidate. Specific duties include:

• conducting systematic assessments, developing a diagnoses and analyses of symptoms within the ecological contexts, and formulating treatment plans for change with the families or guardians;
• working to identify and overcome barriers to treatment when possible and delivering services in the home, school, and community when appropriate;
• implementing interventions that target the changes needed utilizing measurable outcomes;
• participating in BNC training, supervision, consultation, and research activities, to assure that interventions are being delivered according to established standards of care with clearly measurable outcomes;
• working closely as a member of the Child and Family Services program and coordinating intervention activities with all providers, school personnel and other community agencies;
• providing clinical supervision and training activities, if and when appropriate;
• Providing oversight of Community Based Cases when there is a provider from outside of BNC.

Qualifications (including but not limited to): 

• must be a Licensed Qualified Mental Health Professional
• an appropriate degree and being licensed or licensable by the Behavioral Sciences Board in Kansas;
• a commitment to following all legal and ethical guidelines and standards of the profession and of The Bert Nash Center;
• a commitment to developing cultural diversity in the workplace and in service delivery;
• reliable transportation and a valid, unrestricted driver's license;
• flexibility in assigned work hours;
