Pay is commensurate with experience beginning at $110,000 annually. Full time, exempt, benefits eligible. The Clinical Director at Bert Nash Community
Mental Health Center holds a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the strategic
direction and operational management of all clinical services. This role
emphasizes the importance of optimizing the agency's systems to ensure
efficient access to mental health care, coordination of clinical services, and
support for the highest quality delivery of services. The Clinical Director maintains oversight
across a diverse range of clinical services and upholds compliance with
licensing, regulatory, CCBHC, and CARF standards.
Specific duties include but not limited to:
- Direct clinical and operational oversight
for outpatient therapy teams and Admissions team.
- Direct all aspects of clinical service
provision, maintaining high standards of care, evidence-based practices, and
therapeutic excellence.
- Coordinate and ensure quality across
all services, aligning with community needs and leveraging organizational
resources effectively.
- Provide strategic clinical oversight,
influencing the center's direction and enhancing care quality and service
delivery.
- Develop strategies to eliminate
barriers to care, ensuring equitable and timely access to mental health
services for the community.
- Lead and nurture a dynamic team of
clinical professionals, fostering innovation, professional growth, and a
commitment to exceptional care.
- Lead efforts to promote mental health
awareness, reduce stigma, and advocate for community needs.
- Coordinate regularly with internal and
external stakeholders and strengthen relationships through clinical expertise.
- Monitor financial performance develop
operational budgets for assigned programs.
- Utilize data to
evaluate service delivery, employee performance and team outcomes.
- Assist in the
hiring, training, and evaluation of team staff.
- Additional
responsibilities may be assigned as circumstances warrant.
Qualifications:
The Clinical Director position requires but not limited to:
- A master's or doctoral degree in social work,
psychology, or a human service field, with Kansas licensure for independent
practice. Clinical licensure required (e.g.
LP, LPC, LSCSW).
- Extensive experience in the provision of
clinical services and providing clinical supervision.
- Proven leadership in enhancing clinical
services, with a focus on accessibility and client-centered care.
- Experience in regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication, strategic planning, and
team leadership skills, with extensive experience in mental health or community
service settings.
- A commitment to cultural competence,
inclusion, and delivering services that meet the diverse needs of the
community.
- A commitment to interdisciplinary and
community mental health center approaches.
- An energetic and positive approach to the
rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex workplace.
