Clinical Coordinating Manager - Treatment & Recovery Center

Pay is commensurate with experience beginning at $80,000 annually. Full time, exempt, benefits eligible. The primary responsibility of the Clinical Coordination Manager for the Treatment and Recovery Center (TRC) of Douglas County will be to lead and direct the daily workflow with members of the clinical team and case management team at the TRC. In addition to leading and directing the daily tasks and priorities, the Clinical Coordination Manager will work alongside the team in providing direct services designed to utilize empirically based assessment, interventions and crisis stabilization in the most efficient, effective and client-centered manner. The Clinical Coordination Manager is a "first shift" 8 hr/5 days a week position, that will include one weekend day. This role will work with the team to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with the CCBHC model of care, CARF accreditation standards, CIC licensing requirements, and SAMHSA best practice guidelines for Crisis Intervention Centers.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Leading care coordination efforts to assure adherence to established principles and standards within an interdisciplinary treatment team environment.
  • Lead coordination of the day-to-day workflow of patient admission, treatment and discharge, including helping navigate court hearings, staff communication, and service provision.
  • Assuring completion of all reporting and communication needs of funding and referral sources.
  • Providing supportive and corrective feedback to clinicians and case managers to promote client and program outcomes.
  • Providing administrative support within TRC and Bert Nash to work collaboratively with community partners and with community partners to target systemic barriers to treatment success.
  • Working closely with the Clinical Program Manager to assist in the hiring, training, and evaluation of team staff.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications include but not limited to:

  • LSCSW, LCP, LMSW, LMLP licensed in Kansas and able to maintain that license throughout employment with the Center. Significant post master's degree mental health clinical experience with children and adults, and significant supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in empirically based treatment modalities and depth of understanding of theoretical perspectives.
  • Demonstrated experience with clinical assessment of suicidality, lethality, and homicidal risk.
  • Ability to intervene within or between systems in client or larger community system.
  • Experience in providing group and individual supervision and oversight.
  • Knowledge of family systems theory, individual theories, group therapy modalities and empirically based treatment with demonstrated proficiency in delivering services to a wide range of clients.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • Flexibility in assigned working hours and providing consultation including evening, weekend and holiday hours.
